Dr. Murray Watson returns to St. Bartholomew’s to share interesting examples of cross-denominational friendships by prominent church leaders, which have helped to advance Christian unity over the past 75 years, and will explore how liturgical cross-pollination over the past 60 years allows many Christian communities to share in prayers and hymns.
Dr. Murray Watson (PhD Trinity College Dublin) is a Catholic Biblical scholar, ecumenism activist and interfaith educator whose studies took him to Rome, Jerusalem and Dublin. An adjunct professor at Huron University College in London Murray serves as the Adult Faith Animator for the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, and continues to write and speak widely on Scriptural and theological topics.
