Celebrate Reverend Sony

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BISHOP OF OTTAWA

Bishop Shane Parker announces his intention to receive into the Anglican Communion the Reverend Sony Jabouin, a priest ordained by the Roman Catholic Church, following careful discernment and preparation; and recognize his priesthood and place him under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa.  This will happen at a public celebration of the Eucharist at 7pm on May 26th, 2025, the Feast of St Augustine of Canterbury, here at St. Bartholomew’s. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend and celebrate with Sony.
